Music Production by DJ Flo Fader
Many DJ’s are known for their skills at keeping the audience, moving, knowing what songs to play and in what sequence. I definitely aspire to mastering those techniques but I also have an inside track into the DJing profession through my music production. I got introduced to beat production around the same time I started DJing. My skateboarding friend Tim inspired me to try my hand at Music Production. DJ Marley Marl was my first major influence as far professional music is concerned. He would sample and introduce elements of Funk and Soul in his music production.
I was brought up on sampling productions, but now I like to use my own music. With this track I play the Piano, layer the Piano and I set up the drum track, layer the drum track and I combine it with internal sounds from the program Albeton Live.
The Future of Music
In the future I aim to stimulate the masses by including all types of genres in my repertoire. At the rate that technology is progressing there are so many directions that I will move in. I am staying progressive and always keeping my ear to the streets.
Special thanks to Kent Black and HighDefEntertainment | AffinityMusicGroup for their professional audio and video production.
