Week.ly 4th Installment
Welcome to this Week.ly! After two weeks of Melissa McCarthy doppleganging Sean Spicer, Kellyanne Conway issuing a public apology to her boss, and the hiring of Rove-era GOP strategist Mike Duke for White House Communications Director … I felt like the debut meme of this week deserved a “Help Wanted sign. Because communicating (read: damage control) for Trump’s id is like three full-time jobs that no human could possible be equipped for.
Also, this Week.ly we took a shot at the Grammys … for being so white, Kanye for being on
“Grammy Probation” (not really but he was MIA) and Adele for being awesome and gracious…even though the Grammys are still so white. We gave Frederick Douglass some love on his birthday (formerly known as Valentine’s Day … #BlackLove). And in case you missed it, the National Security Adviser to the President stepped down after telegraphing our international policy moves to the Russians. No memes about the Soviet Submarine off the coast of Connecticut this week though … it’s hard to keep up. 😉 See you next week! – hb
