When You Are Gone by Alex Paramo

For my little girl Marisol, daddy loves you...

When you are gone
i am gone with you

When you are gone
you take the essence of me,
with you

I am but an empty shell without you.
I am well rehearsed and well recorded
and some might notice it
but I am not me,
without you.

When you are gone
I am gone with you

When you are gone
you take the strength in my voice
with you

I am diminished and sad
I am downgraded
and sometimes mad
but I am not me,
without you

When you are gone
I am gone with you.
