Love by Stephanie Galloway
In classical Greek culture the word for the highest form of love is agape. It is defined as love for all of humankind. Most people love only those they are familiar with but we are also called to love those we do not know.
When an artist participates in Free Art Friday they put a lot of love into creating their art piece and then share that with a stranger and are not expecting anything in return. This loving act of kindness toward a fellow human being is an expression of agape and can be felt throughout the entire world.
Today personally, thru Free Art Friday Albuquerque, I will accept the challenge to love all of humanity even if it takes me out of my comfort zone that I am most familiar with because to lets me know that love is bigger than my fears and is always a choice worth making!
