Giving Light by Stephanie Galloway
Sharing the art you make is like putting a light bulb into a lamp! I often like to use lamp building
as a metaphor for the creative process. The act of making a piece of art can be compared to constructing a lamp whose finial purpose is sharing light.
The process is not complete until the light bulb is put in the lamp so the light can be seen. In much the same way that making the art is only part of the process until it is shared with others. Everyone has a special talent and that is the gift that we are given and what we do with that talent is our gift to the world! That is my goal through my work with Free Art Friday.
Until we share our talents we are like lamps without a light bulbs so please consider sharing your art with others and be a light for someone! So be on the lookout for art courtesy of Free Art Friday Albuquerque.
