Giving Back to Your Community by Stephanie Galloway
There are many ways that our community nourishes us and helps us grow. Our community provides public services that we benefit from utilizing in addition to having spaces for us to enjoy our leisure time in.
Sharing your art with someone in these spaces is a way of giving back and honoring them by further enhancing and highlighting the positive uses of the public areas. Showing that we as community members are taking something and making the most of it sends a message that we are thankful for having these places and want to be part of helping to improve the quality of life of those around us as well.
The act of sharing your art with someone in a public space continues the cycle of giving to keep it going strong! Feel the joy of art, pass it on! Check out Free Art Friday and Free Art Friday Albuquerque for more info about sharing art in your area.
