Children’s Books

“We all know that reading to our children is important. But did you know that toddlers and pre-schoolers who are read to every day have many advantages and benefits. Not only does reading enhance a child’s vocabulary, and to help them understand how to read and write, but reading aloud to children also helps them to understand different topics about the world and every day life. The importance of reading cannot be emphasized enough in young children and we as parents need to make reading a priority.” – Bilingual Kidspot Read More

Despite some modest gains in the area of story representation, less than 8% of Children’s Books were authored by people of color.

Therefore we are committed to continuing to provide opportunities to Authors, Illustrators and Musicians of color. Additionally our commitment to diversity extends to our partners in recording studios and voice acting.

At Community Publishing our mission is to promote literacy, diverse literature and supporting local arts. Our books feature multimedia technology that allow for audio – narration/music therefore our books serve as learning tools for children of all ages! Please browse our titles and thank you for considering our locally created books!
