Samuel’s Story is a print book with Multimedia Content written by Albuquerque’s Inaugural Poet Laureate Hakim Bellamy. It is illustrated by Artist Melvin Mayes and features the music of internationally known DJ, DJ Flo Fader. We are proud of the fact that this book features an all African American Production Team: Author, Illustrator and Music Director!
It is a coming of age story where a young child takes a “day off” from formal instruction to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up! The book will be available in both print and digital versions. The print version will utilizes a QR Code to access the audio content.
